Louie V Kickers
Louis Vuitton has released two new sneakers, that look a lot like your favorite Vans. Actually they are pretty much exactly the Sk8 Hi’s and Lo’s. The hi top sneaker comes with denim side panels and the LV signature monogram design. The lo top sneaker is a little bit more subtle and features the monogram embossed.

BACK ON MY SNEAKER ISH!!!!
The Ato Cow Hide Boot is definitely not easy to get hold of. Ever since Oki-Ni started offering them, it made life a little easier for fans outside of Japan. Now they are offering on pre-order for Spring 2009 the latest colorway of the Cow Hide Boots, this time coming in a black/green colorway.
Matching the boots, they also offer a Ato Sandal, which is just as different and innovative as the sneaker has been when it came out. Once again, definitely not something for everybody.

Teenager Refuses Heart Transplant
Hannah Jones, a terminally ill 13-year old British schoolgirl who has a hole in her heart, has won the right to refuse treatment after Herefordshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) dropped a High Court case to force her to have a heart transplant. Hannah, who lives with her parents in Marden near Hereford, said she had had enough of medical treatment and wanted to die at home, with dignity.
Wow!!! Hannah is extremely brave. God bless her and her family.

Kids On Drugs!!!
Medication use among children across the United States is dramatically increasing as more kids are being treated for diabetes, asthma and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), researchers report.
Increased prescribing may be due in large part to increasing obesity among children and the health consequences of that trend, researchers say.
"Across all the medication classes we looked at, the rates of use increased -- sometimes dramatically," said study co-author Dr. Donna Halloran, an assistant professor of pediatrics at St. Louis University. "This is particularly concerning, given that several of these diagnoses have been linked to obesity -- diabetes, hypertension, depression, asthma."
