Nike Fall 2008 "Multicolor Patent" Pack










As part of their Fall 2008 collection, Nike presents a Dunk High and Air Max 90, bothcoming with multicolor uppers and a good amount of patent leather. The base of the sneakers is white and then different panels have been given different colors.

Swagger x Rockers NYC T-Shirt









Japan's Swagger and Rockers NYC have been close friends for a while now. But only now they decided to work on a collaborative t-shirt. The aesthetic of this design reflects the early 80s ska 2-tone movement and the late 80s dancehall-infused hip-hop movement, two eras both brands are heavily inspired by in their own collections as well.

Nike Dunk Hi SB "Marge Simpson"









Nike Dunk Hi SB is releasing the "Marge Simpson" in Asia. It comes in the same colors as the cartoon character. The colors of the Dunk is a blue suede representing Marge’s hair, the secondary color in a vibrant yellow is for her skin color and of course the green swoosh is from Marge’s famous green dress.

DJ Clark Kent x Nike "112 Pack"








Here's the DJ Clark Kent "112 Pack" in collaboration with Nike. The pack consists of the Air Max 1, Air Force 1 and the Air Trainer 1. On all three shoes, the iconic elephant print is combined with some 3M and neon yellow detailing.

Dorophy Tang for Adidas











This past weekend Adidas opened its massive new Beijing outpost. In celebration, a special exhibition of Dorophy Tang was mounted. Tang, based in Hong Kong and China, mixed Adidas heritage, footballing visuals and French furniture forms into her display. Unmitigated joy comes through the smiling, chubby little kids that figure in each work.

Afro-Punk Festival






The Afro-Punk Festival celebrates the burgeoning movement, highlighting the music, films, and thinkers that give it shape. For the fourth year in a row, BAM presents a series bristling with progressive films (check doc The Upsetter: The Music and Genius of Lee Scratch Perry), plus a block party (on Sunday, July 13) featuring DJs, art installations, and a DIY crafts market. Of course, no gathering of punks would be complete without one very important thing: plenty of ear-splitting music. Definitely catch Janelle Monae at the launch party on Saturday, July 5.

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Shoes









If you’re a Kanye fan, Louis Vuitton fan, or both, then we’ve got some great news for you. While in Paris’ Jardins de Bagatelle, Kanye teased the fashion world by announcing his collaboration on a men’s shoes line with Louis Vuitton as he says, “I’m here for Louis.” No words on the release yet, but it’s good to start saving up because this will be a collaboration for the ages.

Jordan VII Olympic Miro








With the fashion world descending on Barcelona this week, Jordan Brand has a little surprise. On July 3rd, they will premier a model of the Jordan VII inspired by the art of Juan Miro. The VII was on the feet of MJ during the '92 Dream Team gold medal run, so fittinlngly makes an appearence in the city of that historic moment. Opium Barcelonawill play host to the event, which begins promptly at 7:30 pm.

Michael Lau China BMX Nike Blazer









Here's a look at the Nike Blazer and its packaging designed by Micheal Lau for the Chinese BMX team. The box finds inspiration in the BMX course itself. No surprise, one of Lau trademark designer toys finds it's way in the package, especially cool is the trading of feet clad in the shoe for the bikes wheels. No release date yet, but keep your eyes peeled for flashes of yellow in Beijing.
